| I believe Maryland legislators need to finally become serious about cleaning our Chesapeake Bay. For over 30 years we have allowed our Bay to become devastated from pollution. We have new bacterias developing that can cause serious injury and even death. We need to work with industries around the bay to stop the continued pollution. My own father-in-law contracted a flesh eating bacteria from the Bay called vibrio that ate nearly 30% of his leg. I will pursue innovative, cost-effective, non-partisan solutions to restore the Bay and the industries and wildlife that depend on it. | |||

| I will fight to cut wasteful spending and balance the budget, lower taxes, and promote job growth. Small businesses are the drives our economy and with the current poor Maryland Business climate we have lost over 3000 small businesses and unemployment has doubled. We need to encourage small business and promote job growth. Maryland is facing a $2 billion dollar structural deficit. It is time Maryland Legislators learn to live within their means. |
